With the help of the wonderful Chantelle and Dale of Galvin Construction, we have proudly opened the doors to our second premises at 29 Denison Street.🍾

This new office has been purpose-designed for our Ageing and Disability Services team, creating a welcoming and dedicated space to better support our community. Our other services (including hardship assistance, the community pantry and transport services) will continue to operate from our existing location at 88 King Street.

We’re excited about this next chapter and what it means for the people we support across our community. Stay tuned for details about our official launch and open day in July!

Great news with the supermarket part of our business reopening tomorrow Tuesday 28/4.

The newsagency and bottle shop sections are still undergoing repairs but we are working hard to get these reopened as soon as possible.

A big thankyou for your patience and understanding during this tough time for our business and staff, and we appreciate the support and messages and we look forward to seeing you all!

Due to being closed and the long weekend we have deliveries arriving tomorrow of our fresh foods including meat, produce and deli.

At the start of February, our local Lovey's Grocers IGA Gloucester experienced minor flooding within the store. The timing of this was such a cruel blow after only recently welcoming us all into their newly renovated and spacious store layout. Needing to unavoidably close for ten days to carry out clean up and repairs would impact instore trade for any business, especially in a small regional town like ours. Despite the unforeseen challenges, the IGA team handled the situation with professionalism, teamwork and consistent updates for the community.

Loveys Grocers IGA Gloucester has been a long-term and valued supporter of the Bowling Club, instrumental in making events possible for our Bowlers and helping to keep the doors to a small Club like ours open. We ask you to join us in returning the favour and support our local IGA whenever and wherever possible. It’s our turn to lend a hand to our local grocery store who supports so many local clubs, groups, schools and organisations.

While the liquor and newsagency departments remain closed with no access available through the carpark entrance at this stage, their online shopping platform via IGA Online is now available to customers for our local Gloucester store! It’s another way to show the team we appreciate them and are here to support them just as they always have for our town.

You can’t keep a good store down – we’re all behind you Loveys Gloucester! 💚

We are back!

From 7am today “Your Local” supermarket will reopen!

Unfortunately the liquor and newsagency departments will remain closed with no access available through the carpark entrance until further notice.

Please use the front entrance only on the corner of King and Church Streets.

Thank you for your support and well wishes during the last week and a half while we were closed and we are glad to be back!
