Woven into this piece is intention to guard against what weighs heavy, to soften the energy around you, and to invite in blessings and balance.

Seven Tassels, Seven Blessings.
Each tassel represents harmony, balance, and the seven directions of energy.

* North
* Above (Sky / Spirit / Heaven)
* Below (Earth / Ground)
* Within (Self / Heart / Inner Spirit)
Together, they create a circle of protection around you and your home.

Handmade from recycled cotton cord, made from fashion industry waste, it carries the energy of transformation & renewal and holds another layer of meaning: that what we create can honour both Spirit and Earth at the same time, connecting us to our spiritual and human form.

Hi, I’m Steph, the creator and Reiki Seichem practitioner behind Marikai Holistic. The pieces I create carry intention and symbolism. The fundamental intention behind everything I create, every healing session I witness, and every creative circle I facilitate is to encourage you to invite more peace, joy and harmony into your world.

Feather Wand Creative Circle 🪶✨

A sacred creative experience of connection to self, to nature, to symbolism, and to the quiet wisdom within your own hands.

This is a full-day guided circle where you are invited to slow down, soften, and create your own feather wand using natural materials including feathers, driftwood, crystals, suede and symbolic elements.

Through meditation, intention setting, intuitive selection and gentle creative process, each wand becomes a reflection of something deeply personal. Not just what you make, but what you move through in the process.

Held in a private alfresco studio on the Gold Coast surrounded by lush tropical gardens.

We’ve spent the afternoon setting up our space and everything is ready for an incredible weekend at the Mind Body Spirit Festival Brisbane.

There’s a reason certain symbols seem to find us. ✨🪶

You start noticing them everywhere… in nature, in art, during moments when something in your life is shifting.

It’s almost like symbols reflect something happening within us.

While creating this piece, I kept thinking about how deeply we’re drawn to spiritual symbols. Not just because they’re beautiful, but because they carry meaning, energy, and stories we feel on a deeper level.

Some symbols appear during certain seasons of life.

The butterfly is a symbol of transformation, moving through change, trusting the unseen process, and emerging into a new version of yourself.

It represents rebirth, growth, and the evolution of the soul. 🦋

This design will be available I can’t wait to share it there.

Anyone who wanders into my display space knows I encourage you to touch the pieces you feel drawn to… and this wand is the perfect example of why.

The moment it’s placed in your hands, the energy speaks. The weight of the wood, the coolness of the crystals, the softness of the feathers; it’s not just something you see, it’s something you feel.

This one carries strong grounding medicine through the wood and stones, balanced with gentle guidance from the feathers above. Earth and spirit, anchored together.

Some tools whisper.
This one hums.
