Carrara Colouring in and Cardmaking

Thos post comes with a heavy heart.

Yesterday I took this video. Then we packed up the shop. Finished it today and with a heavy heart we say goodbye to the Carrara Markets.

You'll remember a few posts back I had a black eye from fainting and hitting my head. Well it seems I have done some nerve damage and while I am still waiting to see a specialist and have a proper diagnosis the general concensis is I have Trigeminal Neuralgia and the left side of my face is going numb and has random attacks of pain as well as a feeling of being hit in the head. As we know I also have a permanant bulging disc in my lower back. As a result of this I have been on a nerve blocker for nearly a year now and this nerve blocker is also used to treat Trigeminal Neuralgia so I have been spared the full impact of this condition. The doctor has doubled my dose of medication and as a result I just want sleep, the pain is better but the numbness is still there and I still get random shoiting pain spasms. Some days are good and some not so.

I am still going to run my shop from home as this will take the stress off from driving and having to turn up even when I really can't.

I loved my shop so much and as I get more assistance from specialists I may find a better way of coping and xan get back to normal but for right now I need to rest and heal.

Lovely vibes at the markets today.

If you came into the shop today first of all, thank you, and secondly you would have noticed I was colouring in. I was testing the 0.99 cent pencils from officeworks to put into colouring in packs for kids. I wanted to make sure they worked well and I beleive the rwsults were very good. I do tend to layer and blend and you can find my tutorials on Youtube. Link will be in the comments.

Just in today!!!! The first 6 designs for blank invitations. Sets of 10 with 10 mini stickers for envelope seals.

I had so much fun designing these and I have so many more ideas.

I am so looking forward to getting back to the shop tomorrow. I feel like this year hasn't started yet. Only 2 week ends so far.

We were flooded in on most roads where we live with one possible option that was going to go over at any moment, so I had to make the decision to stay home and stay safe.

In the 2017 floods my partner ended up stranded on a hill somewhere between Cunungra and Beaudesert trying to find a way through flooded roads for 2 days with no food or water and I did not want this to be me.

Hopefully this weekend goes smoothly and I get to meet lots of lovely people at the Markets.

I included a tiktok of my recent mini mandalas I have been colouring in at the shop getting ready to make some card making kits to sell in store. Looking cute as.....

Where closed again!

Our family is in Isolation. 😷😷😷

Then the shop will be closed for the filming again for another 2 weeks. 😎😎

We are open again!

I did a mini makeover of my little desk space. Painting a feature wall and adding some of my original art. Nice cosy vibes now.
