Making a Difference Beyond Shutters & Blinds

We’re incredibly proud to have been named a finalist in the Window Shading Association of Australia’s 2026 Community Impact Award.

For more than 25 years, Apex Shutters & Blinds has been built on a simple philosophy - look after people, work hard, and give back to the community that supports us.

One of the initiatives closest to our hearts is our ongoing support of 12 Baskets Outreach, a Gold Coast organisation providing meals, fresh food and practical assistance to local families and individuals experiencing hardship.

Each week, 12 Baskets supports around 650 people across our community. Since 2017, they have delivered more than 33,000 meals and hosted hundreds of community BBQs, helping ensure vulnerable people have access to food, connection and support.

We are honoured that our contribution to this incredible organisation was recognised by the WSAA judges and included amongst just three finalists from across Australia.

While we didn’t take home the award, being acknowledged alongside such outstanding organisations is something we’re extremely proud of.

A huge thank you to the volunteers at 12 Baskets, our team, our customers and everyone who supports Apex Shutters & Blinds. Every shutter, blind and awning we manufacture helps us continue supporting initiatives that make a real difference right here on the Gold Coast.

Apex Shutters & Blinds is the leading shutters and blind manufacturer in Carrara on the Gold Coast and is currently seeking additional team members.

The person we are seeking must be punctual, have attention to detail and be able to deal with customers in a polite and professional manner. Must be able to work as part of the family or a team.

Duties will include the installation of Shutters, Blinds, Curtains and Awnings.

You will require a Construction White Card and a current drivers license.
