As the owner of She’s Knots Studio, I’m so excited to share that my own ceramics practice, MS Ceramics, will be exhibiting in ECLECTICA at Studio 8, Currumbin.

This exciting exhibition brings together the work of 45 artists, showcasing an eclectic mix of creative practices, styles and perspectives.

It’s always special to see the creativity that grows from the studio, and I’m thrilled to have my work included in this exhibition alongside so many talented artists.

The has cooled so it’s the moment of truth.

Turns out that noise, was not the neighbours.

Look at this beautiful layered bowl created by one of my talented students at She’s Knots Studio.

I love the movement in this piece, with the layered textures and gorgeous earthy blue and brown tones. The glaze has travelled from the outer edge in towards the centre, creating a beautiful sense of movement and depth

Today I’m finishing off this 56cm beauty at She’s Knots Studio.

I started her on Thursday CeramX School of Clay & Glass and it’s always amazing to see how a piece changes as you work through the process.

She’s definitely not finished yet, but I’m loving where she’s heading.

I’ll share the finished piece when she’s ready.

Making a new glaze today.

Not the most exciting part of pottery, but an important part of the process.
