Dressed for an evening of music and quiet elegance, she feels like she belongs in a candlelit hall, where every movement tells a story.

Somewhere between the first stitch and the final bow, Evelyne Corisande began to take shape…

I didn’t set out to make a dancer - but with every layer, every thread of embroidery, every gathered fold, she found her rhythm.

The shawl came first - warm, autumnal, full of movement. Then the corset, the skirt, the boots… each piece adding to a story I didn’t fully understand until she was finished.

She feels like candlelight and music. Like arriving just as the evening begins.

And maybe that’s the magic of making....sometimes they already know who they are ✨

Given the extravagance of the rest of the outfit, knee high, red leather boots just make sense ❤️

Loving how the colours are coming together and the boots balance out the pop of the shawl.

Setting the leaves aside, I realised I needed to figure the rest of her outfit out first 😅

This doll calls for an embroidered corseted bodice and a full gathered skirt 🪡 maybe a ribbon for good measure

Thank you to .designs for revealing this brilliant tip in their video.

Hold the tail of the thread and then wrap the tail end of the thread around the needle (more wraps = bigger knot). Pull the thread through holding the tail and the loops. Perfect knot every time! This has made things so much easier ✨️
