🔥 From fire damage to a fresh new finish.

This single bedroom had been through a fire and needed some serious TLC before it could come back to life.

We completed the repairs, punched and puttied the nails, thoroughly cleaned out the existing gaps and filled them with black SMX 50 Sikaflex before putting the floor through a full sanding process.

The final finish is Polycure Aqua Pro Matte — although this video was taken while the floor was fully wet, giving it that incredible glossy, glass-like look. 😍

Another floor repaired, restored and ready for a fresh chapter. 🖤

East Lismore — The Full Transformation 🪵✨

What a transformation this one has been!

This East Lismore home had years of different floor coverings hiding the original natural timber underneath. Once those coverings were removed, we were able to uncover the beautiful timber that had been hidden away for so long.

From there, the floor went through the full restoration process — preparing the timber, sanding it back thoroughly and working through the floor to create a clean, consistent surface while retaining as much of the natural character of the timber as possible.

And then came the finish… 👌

The floor was finished in Polycure Aqua Pro Matt, a 2-pack water-based coating that gives the timber a beautiful, natural-looking finish without taking away from the character of the wood.

The end result is a floor that feels completely different — fresh, clean and modern, while still keeping the natural warmth and personality of the original timber. 🔥

It’s always satisfying seeing what’s hiding underneath years of carpet and floor coverings and watching it come back to life.

We stripped it back, sanded it right through and brought the timber back to life, revealing the character that had been underneath for years.
