Adding more listings to eBay - well over 1100 now - aiming for 1500 by end of the year!
I have also almost finished my teaching degree. It's been a crazy last few years getting it finished, after starting this dream many years ago and wanting to be a teacher my whole life.
eBay is staying, for sure, I'm just getting myself super organised now. At least I won't be short of a sticker or 100,000 as a teacher of little humans!

Seems our postal service is at and beyond breaking point! I just received this business email!

Dear Michelle,

Thank you for your ongoing partnership with Australia Post.

As you know, across the country we are all managing the sustained challenges of the COVID pandemic. With two of our largest States and some 15 million people in lockdown, the fluctuations in customer online shopping have significantly increased.

We are also dealing with the impacts of the Delta strain and in any given day, we have close to 500 people out of our workforce as they follow necessary self-isolation and testing before clearance back to work.

This is putting increased pressure on our network like nothing we have experienced before, as we manage staff shortages, temporary facility closures, and parcel volumes as high as Christmas peak period.

To help us clear excess parcel volumes in NSW, ACT and VIC due to these impacts, we will be suspending customer collections in these areas.

All Parcel Post collections from customers and merchants in NSW, ACT and VIC will be paused from 7am Saturday 4 September until 7am Tuesday 7 September.

The safety of our people is our highest priority and this temporary measure will allow us to responsibly clear record volumes in parts of our network.

Our team will be processing all weekend to reduce these volumes to a safe and manageable level and help free up capacity with ULDs and pallets.

Services provided for Express Post, Premium and Startrack Express remain unchanged across our network. Lodgements at Post Offices and SPB's will also continue to be collected and collections in all other States remain the same.

Normal medical shipments (normally lodged Parcel Post) will still be accepted subject to confirmation and by arrangement.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this may place on you and your customers. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate these challenges together.

It’s been a while, study is getting the better of my time for doing much else than wife, mum, pack orders, sleep... but I’ve solved a mystery of my buyers in NY, USA. I’ve been selling large orders of stickers to NY, similar addresses, always discontinued stickers, for over a year now at random times. Maybe 8 or so different customers, all seemingly close to each other.
Turns out, there’s a school with thousands of girls who love the stickers and buy and collect and swap I’m guessing, and they can only get them from my little shop in Australia! How fun is that!

Been a wee while since I posted on here! I'm listing a tonne of new items over the next few months, trying to get down my stockpile :)
Because of full-time Uni studies and Mummy life, the website is on hold for the minute, but you'll still catch me on eBay primarily. Rounded out to 500 followers on there today, and an interesting stat of 38997 transactions overall in my life of online trading through eBay.

That's a nice round figure for some stats! eBay, 5000 transactions in the last 12 months.
Considering the last 12 months have been a true mixed bag for online selling for my type of products, and life has been busy personally, that's not too bad.

eBay has just launched Afterpay on their site. As a buyer, if you use Afterpay responsibly, it can help in trying times to get those things you need... as a business owner, this may save my business over the next 6 months or so, as there are now flexible payment options available to you to choose from.
