I always thought yoga wasn't my thing, but I am so glad I gave it a go. It is the best way to start the weekend. So if you are curious give it a go you wont be disappointed.
I spent years doing yoga at home on my own and it was 'fine' but nothing compares to being in a room with other women who get how yoga makes you feel.
In this morning's Yoga Circle, the ladies talked about how they're not morning people and yet they get up every Saturday morning to be at 9.15 yoga because of how it sets them up for the weekend ahead.
The connection and community feel of the group is what keeps them coming and that is exactly what I felt was missing when I created the first Yoga Circle.
You can go to a yoga class or do yoga in your own home and you'll get a good stretch but in my opinion, you won't fully experience what yoga is about.
It's about feeling connected to yourself and also to something bigger.
Yoga takes you out of the everyday grind and gives you space to reset, to ground, to centre and it's just the best feeling🥰
Yoga brings you back to you....the woman buried underneath all the labels & the to-do list.
The first step is saying yes to something that is just for you and that might feel hard, especially when you've been putting everyone else before you for years.
But what I know to be true is that the better you feel, the better you're able to support those you love the most.
Take the first step and watch what happens.
Spots are currently available in our Tuesday evening circle and I've also opened up a waitlist for Tuesday morning sessions starting in Term 3.
