Bank of Us's new head office in Launceston runs on a desk-for-a-day model. No fixed seats, no assigned desks, just whoever books the space that day.

That meant every workstation on Level 4 needed the same quality of light, inside a building built from exposed mass timber. A patchwork of zone-by-zone lighting was never going to hold up.

Inspired by this year's “Pasar Malam” theme, mLight presents “Wahana”, a space built to be experienced, not admired. At its heart, a “Lentera” with light that flickers and moves like flame. Around it, two honeycomb luminaires you can interact with and control, set the atmosphere based on your mood.

Take a break between sessions. Enjoy an Ice cream, VR space, silent disco, and a mini talk-panel with guest speakers from our collaborators.

Built alongside Casambi, BYO Living, Sioen, Swanika, and Studio Mula.
