Ladybird Creative Arts

Ladybird Creative Arts To me, almost any subject matter is potentially a painting or sculpture. My work is diverse. It gives me a sense of deep personal satisfaction.

Landscapes are a favorite subject, but I also love to paint and sculpt animals, birds, the human figure and abstracts using a variety of mixed media and recyclable materials. I love creating art that connects to the environment and natural elements of the sky, the oceans and the earth, bringing their radiance to life with the lustrous colours and shadowy forms of nature. I find a sense of peace and relaxation holding a brush in my hand and connecting with the flow of my work.

As you may or not know, I have an Art Club Group going on a Tuesday morning, where we can make whatever projects our creative minds feel like doing. Yesterday I worked on an Art Tag a little bit of mixed media.
Kam finished off her quirky bird 🐦 It still has its pins in as she left it here to be picked up next week. I’m also working on a dodo bird which is taking a bit longer than I expected 😬
Rikki is also working on a quirky bird and a dodo bird which are both works in progress.
Sue’s made a couple of quirky birds and she’s in the process of making another one which is also a work in progress.

Hello Everyone,

I hope you’re all eager to dive back into some creative activities! These past couple of months, I’ve been focused on caring for my husband, who is facing some health issues. As a result, I’ve scaled back a bit and am currently hosting only one or two workshops each month, so we can spend more quality time together.

However, my passion for art and connecting with both new faces and familiar friends remains strong.

I’m thrilled to share that I will be hosting two workshops in June: the ever-popular Steampunk Turtle and a special session featuring the Steampunk Frog, which I’ve conducted only a few times.

Additionally, I plan to organize a Christmas in July workshop featuring the Christmas Reindeer (New Workshop) and I am considering a Garden Gnome session.

If you have any special requests, please don’t hesitate to reach out, and I will work on them for August and beyond.

I hope to see you all soon 🥰
