Happy weekend! This basket plus a few more are about to be listed for sale on my etsy store. Each basket is a one off design made by me from sari silk remnants so they're totally unique and made with beautiful saved textiles. $35 pickup Spearwood or posted (Aus post postcodes) for $50. Today's flower pressing class at Cockburn Seniors Centre was a wonderful way to finish in person classes for the term. I'll be off on extended leave from running in person classes for a couple of months but I'd love to see your creations in between, feel free to send through pictures. The past two weeks spent weaving and coiling baskets with incredibly talented and lovely participants. Thank you to each of you whom attended this program at Glyde-InCommunity Learning Centre. I love each of your baskets 🌻

Happy weekend! I've been working on this basket for the past couple of weekends using some beautiful sari remnants and recycled cotton. This basket will be used for storing clothes neatly away.
There's so many ways that coiled baskets can be useful, plus they're pretty! Hoping that you are keeping creatively happy too.
Looking forward to seeing you at the upcoming classes if you're booked into basketry or pressed flowers this week.....if not, have a great week ahead!

Happy Monday!
This week brings an in person basket weaving class plus an online basket weaving class too....blissful 🌻
I enjoy the variety in my work and in meeting lovely participants who share the joy of creativity and I'm grateful to be able to work in my small business doing what I love. Looking forward to seeing you at a class soon.
