Our May sock workshop went well, so we are running our Learn to Knit Socks workshop again in June😊😊😊
We have tweaked the course a little, adding an extra hour to the middle week as we found we needed a bit more time to get the heel turned and gusset done.

We have added the new workshop to the online shop , you can find it in the Workshops menu if you’re interested.

Now that Winter has arrived I thought it might be time to bring back our Saturday Crafternoons in the shop, they have been kind of happening informally since we moved to the bigger shop, but let’s make it official.😁😁

12pm-3pm at our shop in Hastings on Saturdays, bring whatever you want to work on and enjoy a few hours of relaxing social crafty time with other yarny peeps.

A little colour hit for your Sunday, the Heritage sock yarn by was looking extra pretty yesterday.❤️🩵🩷💙🧡💚

We have been busy with lots of new stock arriving recently (and lots more to come) and have been slowly updating the online shop with everything that’s coming in.

I’ll try and do some posts this week with new stock as we add it to the shop.
It has been so lovely to see so many people coming into the shop and getting into their knitting and crochet!

We are busy getting ready for Melbourne Fibre Fest on this weekend in Coburg, we are having a stall for the first time, so come and say hello if you are going to this great gathering of yarny love.😊😊

We are winding up lovely colours for some blanket kits, I always love putting these little pops of colours together. Today we are doing vintage rainbow colours, and tomorrow I think we will make a couple of bright ones. ❤️💚🧡💙🩷🩵

It’s time to talk Advents even though it’s only May! 😁

We are opening up our Advent offerings for 2026, and would love to share what we have planned for this year. ❤️

This year I am going to do all the dyeing myself, so a total Little Woollie Makes production!

My theme this year is ‘Happy Happy, Joy Joy’ , so think a colourful riot of happiness, loud, soft and pretty, with speckles galore! ( the collages on the next couple of slides are showing some of my inspo, add in a few more pops of neon and we are nearly there😊😊)

We have 4ply and 8ply 24 day Advents, and I’m also offering a special 4 x 100g 4ply sock sets Advent this year, so you can open 1 sock set for each week leading up to Christmas if you like knittting socks and prefer that type of Advent. Each of these sock sets will have a full 100g skein plus 2 x 20g contrast minis. 🧦🧦

We are open for preorders now to send in early November, all the info is in our online shop, you can find them in the New Arrivals Menu .

I’m limiting numbers this year as I’ve never done all the dyeing myself before and I want to make sure I can get everything done properly by the deadline! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A little update on Clare and my Dust Bunny progress, we are deep into the sleeves, Clare is onto her second sleeve and I’m nearly finished my first one. 😊❤️🎉
Clare’s is looking so pretty in the pale pink Kiss Kiss colour and mine is in Sugar which is more mauve and pinks.
I’m still enjoying this knit, but can’t wait to get it finished and wear it!
