What a brilliant Australia's Biggest Morning Tea we had yesterday at my Aunty Vicki's house! Almost 20 lovely ladies rocked up to show their support, donate some much needed cold hard cash, and bring delicious treats to share.

I had a beautiful morning catching up with some people I haven't seen in ages and even managed a speech about our families cancer journey. Phew! Home for a nanna nap straight after!

We have done brilliantly and raised nearly $2,000 for the Cancer Council, so happy! And, I didn't even realise (blaming it on the defunct brain!) money this year from Australia's Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser goes straight to brain cancer research!!! 🤛🤛🤛

It's nearly here!

Saturday from 11am - 12.30pm my family are hosting Australia's Biggest Morning Tea to raise much needed funds for the

Thanks so much for everyone who has already donated, we are so close to our goal of $1,000. Hit the link on my insta if you haven't already donated and would like too.

The Cancer Council provide a large range of supports for people and families going through and recovering from cancer.

Your donation helps provide:
- Kids with a SunSmart education
- Phone calls for trained cancer professionals
- Study for PHD students world class research

I myself have had support from online counsellors, yoga classes, annual payments for myself and my kids, and transport to treatment when I couldn't drive for six months but still needed to go to radiation. This was over a seven week period. Any support when going through this roller-coaster is so needed and makes a world of difference.

We're still hitting the ocean every Tuesday after school drop off getting some much needed time with and the natural world. The water is getting colder as winter draws nearer, but we push through and are managing to walk (up to our wastes) about halfway up Kingston Beach.

Once the icey pain stops and we go numb, it's absolutely blissful!

It was a historical and special day yesterday in Nipaluna/Hobart, the return of our Tassie Princess, now a Queen,Queen Mary of Denmark!

Somehow, I managed to get a (naughty) park and squeeze the kids through to the front to get a close view of Mary and King Frederick. They shook their hands, and Wylie took some great photos. It was intense, so many people, but worth the effort 👸🤴🏼

Another wonderful old friend came all the way from Canada for a whole week! It was fantastic to spend some special time with you before Chrissy
