Some do**us over ordered (I blame the dog; he looks guilty!) so we’re doing a special on roses; 6 for $35. Every colour of the rainbow.

Update; Jarva’s human has been found! Tail wagging all round. Thank you SoHo for spreading the word.

Morning all; in addition to Valentine’s Day prep, I’ve been caring for a lost blind doggie who was wandering the streets of South Hobart. He has no collar but he’s well fed so I’m sure he’s loved by someone.

He’s very very confused and I’m desperate to find his owner. I’ll take him to a shelter later today but for the moment he’s safe and fed in our garden. Give me a call if you know anything 0418313414

Dahlias galore; I’m calling them an elegance of dahlias because they are just so; classy, elegant and blooming beautiful.

Just arrived from Bee Happy Farm at Abel’s Bay, in Tassie’s far south channel region and lovingly grown by Tara and Tom. I try hard to buy local flowers; and why wouldn’t I when you see these beauties.

Why do small business operators immerse themselves in their local communities? Because it brings joy and fun!

I recently attended the unveiling of Lady Gowrie Tasmania South Hobart Elboden Flower Shop! After I spent time with the pre-kinder kids making bouquets for Mothers Day, the clever kids decided to open their own flower shop BUT they’ve gone one better; coffee van too (delicious but pricey!!!).

I think early childhood educators are the bees knees or in flower speak, blooming amazing!

Thank you kids for inviting me to your opening; I hope you earn heaps!!! Perhaps there’s a future florist among these creative kids?
