My passion is to create energy efficient homes based on the passive solar principal, that utilises clever use of space. I'm a Japanese building designer based in Southern Tasmania. Trained as an architect in Japan and I've been working as a building designer in Australia since 2012. I can design to your requirements for new build, renovations, extensions and shed conversion etc. I can submit plans

I’m excited to share a project close to my heart at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens ― a Children’s Maze in Hobart!!! This maze will be created using over 400 Western Red Cedars, and I’ve been incredibly fortunate to be part of bringing it to life. It’s been an amazing (and at times challenging) journey ― one that felt a bit like getting lost in a maze that only existed in my mind. I’m truly grateful for the trust and support from the client throughout this adventure. I can only imagine what it will feel like to one day wander through the finished maze and experience it for real.

I visited an exhibition, LIVING Modernity: Experiments in the Exceptional & Everyday 1920s-1970s held at Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art, designed by a Japanese architect, Tadao Ando. I felt as if I were walking in a beautiful sculpture.
