HUNTING GROUND
Architect: Unknown (1852) Christy Bryar/Next 50 Architects (2018)
Hunting Ground is a small historic property in the Southern Midlands that sits on an escarpment overlooking the kutalayna/Jordan River. The site contains a modest red brick convict-built Congregational church (1852), two timber cottages and a stables. It is now an off-grid home that combines sensitive restoration with contemporary additions.
Hunting Ground is part of our Sunday Drive program, opening doors to buildings beyond the city.
