This Peony tee kept my hands busy while on summer vacation. Knitted with Tynn Line, my favorite summer yarn, this project was a joy to knit. Except though for the modifications required to make the incorrect chart work.

In just 24 hours, Tuesday 11 August 20:00 (8pm CEST) you can again join me online on youtube for live knit chat. The summer holiday is over, and for many of us the extra free time means plenty of cosy hours with yarn and needles.

So lets join for a chat about what we've been knitting during summer. I had grand plans for my holiday knitting. Some plans I stuck with, some I abandoned or shifted focus slightly.
You will see two finished summer tees, and a fall project well underway.

The live is in Danish only and there are no translated subtitles. Non Danish speaking viewers are more than welcome to join for the visual experience.

I'm watching the World cup final at an Irish bar in Ljubljana, while secretly knitting away on the Peony Tee - my summer holiday project

Breakfast done well.
We have started another wonderful sunny day on our holiday in Slovenia with knitting for breakfast.

Yesterday I finished the lace pattern on the Peony Tee. Many knitters have complained about it being difficult to read and to work, and I understand why. The chart is not correct, but with careful modifications I found my way.
Now its just plenty of rhythmic stocking sts for the remainder of the project.

A baby jumper stuck in reverse.
The knitting was all done but somehow I misread the pattern 'Striped big brother jumper' and knitted the sleeves flat. Sewing those together was too much of a pain to continue. The only way out was to unravel and reknit.
