It was so nice to receive a gratitude call first thing this morning ❤️

Sue Griffiths was awarded the Presidents Pick at the Queensland Quilt Show and her prize was a voucher donated by us!

Check out Sue's beautiful quilt called ‘Indigo Stencil Dyes’ where the fabric was dyed in a workshop with Bryan Whitehead of Indigo Textile Adventures. He has had antique indigo stencils recut by hand by Japanese masters which we then had the fun of using. I pieced my quilt like the patterns you see in Japanese sliding doors, and quilted it with 54 different Sashiko patterns.

Isn't it just beautiful!
