If you happen to be a local, we are starting a Crafty Catchup in Indooroopilly on Tuesday at 10am (@ Cafe 63)

There has been a people asking about crafty groups and catchups in the local area. With the new Cafe 63 opening in Indooroopilly recently, I asked if it would be ok for a group to meet there and the staff were quite happy for this to happen.

So this Tuesday at 10am I will be bringing my crochet, ordering a coffee and welcoming anyone else who would like to join me. This will be a very informal and what ever craft you want to bring (or even if you just want to come for a chat) is most welcome.

Hope to see some lovely friendly faces.

If Tuesday morning doesn’t suit please don’t be discouraged. There are other times where local groups are meeting and please comment and we can make a list to share of other times and places 🙂

Jamesons Shetland Spindrift from Ragamuffin in Edinburgh (they have actually been partly used making fingerless gloves).

A few more cones of Jameson Sprindrift from Prickly Thistle in Inverness. Have read about their story. Rather cool.

The Kambgarn is produced in Iceland and was available in the Netto Supermarket.

The Seashell is a local Icelandic one pot hand dyer and it was in a little store Klæðakot.

About to embark on another journey. Headed off to Scotland, Iceland, Greenland, Canada & USA next week.

The shop will be shut from Tuesday 18th August for 5 weeks. Reopening on Friday 25th September.

The online store will still be active but depending on what is ordered there may be a delay in shipping since the skeleton staff works a real job 🙂
