Figural pieces were prolific in Austrian production in the early decades of last century. This little fern pot/vase in thickly glazed earthenware is an attractive example, a young girl leaning on a large basket. Her dress is decorated in the round, with a large bow at the back. The roses echo those moulded over the basket. Probably c1920, impressed 6730. 13cm tall, 15cm long. $28

It's been a while, but we'll try and put a few things up here again for your perusal.

Check out this nice pair of bisque spill vases, probably German c1920s. They're a true pair, a boy and girl both impressed 5962. The finish is lightly coloured and pearlised. Height is 9.5cm, with no damage or visible wear. $20 the pair.
