My eldest turned 4 last week! 🎉

To kick off his birthday week, we hosted his Hot Wheels party at Inflatable World with just shy of 50 kids 🫣. It was fun, chaotic, loud, and an absolute whirlwind, but the kids had the best time... and none more so than my big birthday boy!

We started the party with a round of Happy Birthday and the main event, watching a car race down the Hot Wheels track and crash straight through his cake. 🚗💨🎂 His only birthday request was "a cake with a track," and seeing his face when it all came together made every second worth it.

To complete the celebration, I also made matching cupcakes, chocolate-dipped Oreos, and Cakesicles. A sweet start to a very special birthday week for our favourite four-year-old. ❤️

My son turned 4 last week! 🎉

In true birthday-boy style, he had not one, but two cakes to celebrate. This was the second cake for our family celebrations at home, and it was every bit as fun as he is!

A delicious vanilla cake covered in silky Swiss meringue buttercream, decorated with handmade white chocolate LEGO blocks and LEGO figures. Bright, colourful, and packed with personality, it was the perfect cake for a little LEGO lover's special day. 💛❤️💙💚

Watching his excitement as he spotted all the little details made every minute of creating it worthwhile. 🧱🎂✨

Pretty in pink for the sweetest first birthday 💕🦋

This elegant vanilla cake was finished in soft pale pink American buttercream and decorated with delicate edible butterflies and pretty deco balls for a timeless, whimsical look. The perfect centrepiece for a very special first birthday celebration.

I was asked late last night if I could recreate this cake after the original cake maker had to cancel, and I'm so glad I could help make the celebration happen.

Plot twist in frosting form 🎮🚓
This cool dude was all set for a police party… until Pokémon entered the chat and completely stole the spotlight ⚡️

So the plans changed, the cake transformed, and we created a Pokémon themed celebration while still adding a few sweet treats to tie in his original police party decorations. These adorable Cakesicles and Dipped Oreos were the perfect little crossover combo and honestly… they understood the assignment 💙✨

Sometimes the best parties are the ones that evolve at the last minute 😉
