In just a couple of months, we will celebrate 13 years of owning the salon, a journey filled with highs and lows.

I (Clara) started as a tea and tidy girl here over 19 years ago, eventually purchasing the salon a year after my apprenticeship and building a brand with my husband that prioritizes making clients feel seen and heard.

While our family has made sacrifices for the business, it has also provided us with the freedom to structure our work around our children and enjoy annual family holidays. As our family grows, we have decided to close the salon to cherish these precious moments of our children’s childhood.

My last day in the salon will be Thursday, 29th August 2024. For clients with appointments after this date (and if I won’t see you at an appointment before the end of August), please check your inbox for an email regarding your upcoming appointment.

Dave and I deeply appreciate the support, loyalty, and kind words from all our clients, both long-standing and new. We are grateful for this chapter and are so excited to move into our next family adventure!

Farewell Barber Dave
For the last few years Barber Dave has been studying film and television while also spending much of his weekends shooting, assisting and/or working on his craft as a film maker. This has been a career change he has worked tirelessly in pursuit of living out his dream as a professional filmmaker. As of last Monday, Dave was offered a fulltime position as a digital media producer which he has accepted.

It is with deep regret we officially say farewell to Barber Dave who has been an integral part of His + Her alongside Clara for the last six years. We are now on the lookout for a senior barber to take over his role. We will update our clients once we have found someone suitable to take up his position.
