‘Tulp’ Side Tables
Tulip timber top with recycled messmate timber legs. Designed and handmade in Melbourne. Launching at ‘Convergence’ exhibition, opening Saturday 6th June, 2-4pm . Exhibition through out June.

An exhibition showcasing the work of five creative woodworkers, spanning sculptural art through to furniture design. Hive Gallery champions local designers across a diverse range of artistic disciplines, offering a beautiful space to explore, connect with, and appreciate contemporary wood design.

🍁 ‘Convergence’ Exhibition
I’m honoured to be included in this exhibition with talented woodworkers, sculptors & furniture makers. A beautiful gallery, curating exhibitions to support local Australian artists from various design fields.

Last weekend I was a Judge at the Australian Wood Design Exhibition in Orbost. Such an honour and delight to be invited. Here is a piece showing all the award winners , judges, local council members & organisers. It’s such beautiful country and the Orbost Art Gallery is a space of beauty showcasing impressive wood designs from sculptures to furniture. The exhibition is on throughout April, well worth the visit.

🪑Australian Wood Design Exhibition (Orbost) well worth a visit

The Orbost Arts Centre celebrated the opening of the Australian Wood Design Exhibition last Saturday, featuring an impressive collection of works from across the region and beyond, including Wodonga, South Gippsland, the ACT, South Australia, and New South Wales.

Mayor Cr Jodie Ashworth, alongside Deputy Mayor Tom Crook and Cr Joanne Eastman, opened the exhibition. Works include handcrafted boxes, guitars, furniture, turnings and bark paintings.

The arts centre is open seven days a week from 10am to 3pm, and a great way to spend some time during your visit to Orbost. The arts centre is located alongside the Slab Hut (visitor information) and Forest Park playground.
