Next mohair scarves are on the loom. This lot is only 80% kid mohair and 20% wool, so it's going to be interesting to see how this yarn behaves. The colours are very subtle. I want to weave this with the 100% kid mohair, but didn't have the right colours. So I quickly ordered more. Meanwhile I'll have to do something different?!

We have another brush turkey making a nest right next to the compost bin. This is day 4 where he scratched everything across our driveway.... Now we need some female turkeys!!!

First scarf is done and this is already the middle of the second one. The pin marks one metre woven. All good, not one broken thread so far 😁. Hope I haven't jinksed it....

While the orange mohair scarves are on the loom, the next project is already in the making. This is the last of the mohair scarves (for the moment at least...😉). This one is going to be in very mild colours and the yarn has 20% wool in it. So not 100% kid mohair. I want to see how this one behaves and how it feels woven. But first the orange ones have to come off the loom. Busy, busy
