On the last pop tea towel I used up lots of little bits of cottolin colours by weaving 2cm/colour in a gradation. I like the outcome, but it took much longer to weave. Glad I took the time! I'm considering keeping that towel for myself..... 😏

With great sadness I've heard of the passing of Marian Stubenitsky last week. The world has lost a great weaver! I've never met her (I wish I've had) but got all her books. These books have been and still are a great inspiration for me. I love the way Marian has opened up dormant weaving structures and gave them a new spin of life. Or even found new ways of creativity, new forms of weaving within it. So mind blowing and inspirational. I'm very glad I've got all her books. Marian you will be thoroughly missed, but I'm tremendously grateful for what you have given me!!! 💕

Rossignol, our wild brush turkey is still scratching.... no little ones so far and I'm now doubting that the first lot of eggs were a success. Let's hope for the second lot.

It's really dry at our place, lots of the smaller trees have dried leaves and look dead. 😒 Hoping for rain

And I met the first snake of this season.... 😯
