I forgot to post these last week. We had this lovely visitor in our backyard. So cute. We’re very lucky to live between two huge gum trees with lots of kookas singing most days and visiting us sometimes too! Definitely makes our day when we get to watch them up close.

Thanks to the lovely customer who purchased our Diamond Star mandala designs on a long-sleeved t-shirt in the TeePublic sale that’s on right now!

It is crazy amazing how many styles, sizes and colours they have in their t-shirt range, not to mention all their other awesome products!

We had a long visit by too many Brown Thornbills to count this afternoon. They were flitting everywhere and then doing massive belly dives into the bird bath. Next time I’ll try and get video as it was very funny to watch. They might be so teeny tiny but jeez they can make a splash!

You might have to zoom and get your specs out to find them in the last couple of shots as they camouflage so well into the surroundings.

There was a bit of a gerfuffle between two Rainbow Lorikeets and several Pied Currawongs in our backyard today. Luckily no-one was injured but it was certainly interesting to watch. We don’t normally see the Lorikeets in this tree and I wonder if they’re starting to build a nest and so getting territorial trying to scare off the Currawongs.

Not the greatest photos with the height and white sky but here’s a little of what we got to see.

We had these two gorgeous Kookaburras visit in our backyard this afternoon. We hear them multiple times a day in a tree close by but we don’t often see them in our yard so it was a lovely surprise. Tricky to get good photos as they were up high and the sky was white but you get the gist of their cuteness hopefully!!
