We watched the 50 th Anniversary of the ACO last night. Australian Chamber Orchestra. What a vivid view of that musical ensemble. Fabulous , and the piece that really got us was the collaboration with St Mays North Public school where the kids learn and play an instrument for 15 minutes every day and performed with the orchestra on stage. The look of pride and achievement on the faces of both the children and the orchestra was heart swelling . It is an experience those children will never forget and hopefully they will go on to enjoy all forms of music all their lives. Congratulations to all involved. If only all schools could do that.

Lots of folks are now in transit to Clay Gulgong . I will be arriving on Saturday and will have work for sale at the Firestarters exhibition at the Cube opposite the Prince of Wales Hotel and in the Women in Wood firing at the Pioneer Museum. I will also be in conversation with Owen Rye and Bill Samuels on Monday night at 6:30. Looking forward to the whole event and catching up with many friends.
