New class starting. Bookings required.
We are making a quilt with border fabrics. This is a fairly quick and easy quilt and will take a few classes to complete. The first class on Tues 19th, 9.30am will be sorting out the fabric requirements.
Border prints.. what are these? Some fabrics come like already and look like stripes across the fabric. I have added the dark fabrics in this one for contrast and to make bigger. You can either piece strips of your favourite colours, prints, add to borders, or just use what is on the roll. This is up to you. Sewing machine may be required today, depending on what you decide. Class cost $15 per session.

Today I celebrate a milestone. Its our 21st Birthday. 21 years since we opened the doors to Somethings Country. Wow, what a journey it has been. 4 locations, all in Kingaroy. Growing our online business to be able to get orders and send all over the world. Going from straight gifts and homewares, to developing a full blown quilting and craft shop as well. Adding new product lines such as sewing machines and servicing machines and repairs instore. Developing my own designs and product lines, to sell including fabrics and giftwares. Travelling and investing time and money in bringing the South Burnett interesting, beautiful and affordable pieces through our doors. Supporting community groups with help and donations. Employing locals, including my own family. Winning awards and high achievements in our fields.
Thankyou to everyone that has supported us throughout our 21 years, I very much appreciate you.
