We’ve got a soft spot for giving beautiful things a second life. 🤍

At Cover & Co, we regularly have surplus and discontinued fabrics that are no longer needed for our projects, but they can be incredibly useful to someone else.

So rather than letting them go to waste, we’ve been passing them on to local charities, not-for-profits, craft and sewing groups, community organisations and educational settings, where they can be turned into something new. ✂️🧵

Stella is pictured here with one of the lovely ladies from The Flower Room, a Hobart-based, volunteer-run co-operative selling flowers, cakes, preserves and beautiful handmade crafts. 🌸

We’re so happy our fabrics can play a small part in supporting the wonderful work they do in our local community.

One year of Cover & Co. 🤍

One year ago, we rebranded from HFT Interiors and introduced Cover & Co.

The name came from wanting something that better reflected who we are, what we do and where we’re heading.

At its simplest, we cover things. We cover windows with custom curtains, blinds and shutters.
We cover outdoor spaces with awnings.
And we cover homes with layers of texture, softness and warmth.

And the & Co.?
That’s about the people behind it. Our team, our customers, our suppliers and the collaborators who help bring each Tasmanian home to life 🥰

From there, the rest of the brand began to take shape.

We worked with the supremely talented Sam from Mulch , who came highly recommended to us , to create an identity that felt distinctly ours, and distinctly Tasmanian 💚

Our brand colour palette of Gum, Moss, Mist, Wattle, Tannin and Bark was inspired by the beautiful Tasmanian landscape around us. Those colours found their way onto our vehicles, uniforms, signage and showroom, becoming part of how Cover & Co. shows up across Hobart and Southern Tasmania.

A year on from the wonderful community launch we held and we have been fortunate to have worked on some incredibly special residential and commercial window furnishing projects, grown as a team and had the absolute honour of being named Luxaflex Gallery Dealer of the Year as last years Luxaflex Australia Awards Gala.

We’re proud to be a partner of Luxaflex Australia window furnishings for Southern Tasmania, bringing considered design, quality curtains, blinds, shutters and awnings to homes across our wonderful Hobart and the surrounds.

But perhaps the best part of the past year has been seeing the name become ours.

Cover & Co.

A name that reflects what we do.
A brand that reflects who we are.
And a chapter we’re incredibly proud to be writing.

Throwing it back to the school holidays… because this Velascreens install was one of our favourites yet!

And what makes it even better is that Velascreens are included in the current Luxaflex Australia QANTAS Triple Points Promotion! ✨

Louie joined Stella during the school holidays to meet Michael and Michael B as they completed an install of Luxaflex Australia Velascreens for a local Howrah family (just check out those views of the Mountain! 😍).

Some spaces become part of the story 🤍

Cover & Co. were so honoured to assist with the window coverings for Hobart Family, Maternity & Newborn Photographer | Eliza Beer beautiful new studio in Acton Park with custom sheers and linings.

Knowing this is where Eliza will capture so many more precious moments for families makes this project feel especially meaningful to us.
