This seamless transition between indoors and out was one of the key priorities for our clients, who wanted polished concrete flowing continuously from the interior to the exterior with no visible step down.
Achieving that result required close collaboration between the builder, engineer, window manufacturer and trades from the very beginning. From additional plumbing considerations and precise slab levels to custom window and door detailing, every decision revolved around delivering this vision.
The pocket sliding door became the hero feature of the project, designed with a square set finish and a completely flush threshold. Even the custom highlight windows above were carefully positioned to align vertically with the door below, ensuring every line and junction felt intentional and resolved.
