The colours orange, yellow, white and cream are prominently displayed in the bouquet being dispatched today. I remain impressed that we managed to include a couple of Dahlias in the arrangement considering the time of year.The bouquet features an assortment of Lilliums, Lisianthus, Chrysanthemums, Cafe Au Lait Dahlias and foliage.

This year we have undertaken a peony project. Typical Peonies come in as bare roots and take 3 years to be used as cut flowers. This is a long term investment but after conversing with other flower farmers it is deemed a valuable investment. So this year we obtained multiple of 3 varieties pink, white and red. Stay tuned to find out how they develop.

I am currently exploring an innovative method to repurpose the accumulation of paper shopping bags. 🌱 They have proven effective in suppressing weeds in the garden, but I am seeking additional uses. So, during today's tulip planting session, I decided to experiment with utilizing these bags. Each bag can accommodate 18 tulips, and if successful, this approach could be a game-changer, as the bags are entirely movable and can be easily incorporated into the garden bed after use. I will provide updates on their progress.

Below are 4 bags, 3 bag layers. In the bags are tulips and Daffodils . Permafert is the growing medium.

Hello Fabulous Flower Friends 🌼!
This week we started our Lisianthus seeds. I'm so excited to watch them grow. Lisianthus are truly one of my favorite flowers because of their delicate beauty. Their ruffled petals remind me of a beautiful ballerina's tutu 🩰. I can't wait to see these little seedlings transform into stunning blooms! Sending you all some floral joy today!
