Look at these gorgeous natives I am creating with this week as I make a start on one of our upcoming weddings!
A lot of work goes into weddings well before the creating even begins. At the time of quoting we create a floral recipe on paper as we carefully select the flowers & foliages to be used based on your inspiration and vision.
Once your wedding is booked we then start the next process checking if we have your preferred flowers already in stock & available or looking at when they’re grown for us to source, gather & dry to then pop away in advance safely stored until it is time to begin creating. Each stem is very carefully chosen & prepared with many factors taken into consideration to ensure for a perfect bouquet or other wedding floral piece.
As flowers grow and then dry they form their own shape and head direction which can sometimes decide on their placement in the floral creation or some may require a wire support before drying for head strength and shape. Woody stems are checked carefully for bits that could hook on a dress or be sharp on hands so they are very carefully prepared for these reasons.
Once they are prepared we can then begin creating watching the beauty unfold as we go.
