The Laverton Aboriginal Art Gallery is a not for Profit and managed by the LCCA.

We display, sell and promote artists works and work as a retail outlet for some of the art centres in the Western Desert area.

✨️ Laverfest Art Prize + Schools Exhibition Opening ✨️

Thank you to all the artists, our sponsors and everyone in the community who got behind it.

What an incredible display of talent and community spirit!

The Art Prize and Schools Exhibition are now open until 18th of September, with People’s Choice and Schools Exhibition voting slips available throughout, with winners to be announced soon after.

The Aboriginal Art Gallery is also open during this time, just on a smaller scale during the exhibition.

Don’t miss the chance to have your work displayed in the gallery as part of the Laverfest Art Prize 2026.

Our gallery is housed in a beautiful historic building, originally built in 1909, offering a unique and special space to showcase artwork throughout September.

Usually home to Aboriginal artworks and the stories of our local Aborihinal artists, the Art Prize provides a rare opportunity for local artists from all backgrounds and creative practices to bring their work into the gallery and share it with the community.

Whether you paint, draw, photograph, sculpt or create mixed media, we have some very limited space still available and we’d love to display what you’ve been creating!
