The water system from has been delivered yesterday 🙌
Decided with this company after reading lots of positive reviews.
We do have quite small kitchen and it's a old Queenslander house. So original plan was to purchase after buying a home but this dream of ours seems to be out of reach atm. So just end up buying it anyways.

I think this will save us money on a long term and we have a nice tasty water to drink.

I am lucky that my husband is handy with around the house so he will be purchasing a new sink so the normal tap water and the filtered water tap both have a space.

Planning to install it over this weekend!

My husband and I couldn't sleep after the dog attack and we decided to use all weekend fortifying the chicken coop and making sure the chickens are safe and sound. We added extra fencing which is taller then original and we have put wire mesh the spiky one around the second gate hopefully there will be no further dog attacks or any attacks on our poor chickens. I had to remove all of the plants and stuff around the coop because it was destroyed during the attack so I have to plant more plants and herbs around the coop for my chickens

Last week on Saturday we slept in, woken up by chickens noise, ran outside then found 4 of our chickens dead. They were brutally attacked by something. One of the chickens even managed to escape coop in panic and its body was found in my front yard. We were all devastated and wondered what may have done this. Our initial thought was feral cat. We had only one last chicken remaining.

Last night around 9.10pm my husband went out because he heard the last chicken making noise. He stormed outside and found 1 small dog outside of the coop, 1 large one inside, killing our last remaining chicken.

My husband chased them off and wanted to contact the owner, and dogs started coming at him.

This incident caused a lot of distress and grief. We couldnt sleep and that heavy feeling in the chest, that wouldn't subside.

I can't stop thinking about the terror and fright those poor chickens experienced in their final moments in this life. 😢
