Pink and red together? ABSOLUTELY. ❤️🩷

Nolane turned up to her recent workshop wearing a fabulous pink and red striped dress, then proceeded to make an entire bouquet to match her outfit. 😂

And honestly, with those little bees and ladybugs thrown in, I think she’s onto something. 🐝🐞

I’ve seen the “that’s ceramics, bad luck” approach before.

It’s not mine.

You’ve paid good money, given up a few hours of your time and made something you’re excited about.

If a flower doesn’t survive, I’ll try to repair it. If I can’t, I’ll make you something similar myself.

You will always get back AT LEAST as many flowers as you made.

Yes, ceramics can be unpredictable.

But I don’t think that should be your problem. 🌸

Market season is coming. Which means it’s almost time for me to spend my weekends standing in a tiny colourful shop I built at an ungodly hour that morning. 😂

After quite a few markets, I’ve realised there are a few things people really want to know but don’t always ask.

Can you touch things? At my stall, YES. Pick them up! (Maybe ask other vendors at theirs.)

Do I take cash? Absolutely YES. And yes, I have change for that $50 note.

Am I surviving on coffee and snacks strategically hidden about my person? Also yes. I usually work my stall solo, so those pockets in my dress are basically my snack drawer. 😂

And the big one: you are absolutely welcome to browse without buying anything.

Pick things up. Ask me how they’re made. Tell me your favourite. Have a chat.

And if something does come home with you, there’s a real person behind that stall who is VERY pleased you chose something she made. 🌸
