a quiet couple of weeks to reset. I genuinely think taking a break and resetting is the most important thing we can do for ourselves in this industry (often hard). We cannot pour from an empty cup and for me boredom is the very best thing to spark creativity.

In July 2025, I took my love of flowers international, designing the florals for a wedding in the south of France. A milestone that reflects the calibre of couples who trust me to bring their most important day to life.

Since then, I’ve noticed a quiet shift in my work, my mindset, and the reason I do all of this.

Creating has been my love from the very beginning, but the more weddings I experience, the more I find myself deeply moved by the people I create for. It’s grown into a profound admiration for my couples and the love they carry.

These are people who love hard and love loudly. They are sentimental, wholehearted souls, and their day is a celebration not just of each other, but of every person who has shown up for them.

My approach has always been to design spaces that feel like a true extension of who you are, not just beautiful to look at, but deeply, personally yours. Now more than ever, I feel the weight and the beauty of that responsibility.

A new era for Lily and Mae 🤍

In July 2025, I took my love of flowers international, designing the florals for a wedding in the south of France. A milestone that reflects the calibre of couples who trust me to bring their most important day to life.

Food styling at weddings is weirdly controversial. We’ve all seen bad, overdone fruit styling.

From a designers perspective, I love little hints of it, but only when it’s done with intention. Not just fruit for the sake of fruit. It has to feel considered and sculptural. It adds depth and makes everything feel a little more layered.

The flat peaches weren’t even on the original brief but sometimes the things you didn’t plan are the things that make the whole design shine.

That’s why you trust your designers to have creative freedom.

I’ve actually spent $300 on peaches before, made a freelancer pull the sticker off each one and not even use them because they didn’t work. 🫢
