As a resident of Lower Chittering, I am very disappointed in this years sponsor for The Taste of Chittering. As such, myself along with Heaven Scent - Home, Bath & Body have decided to pull out of this years event.
We cannot in good conscience support this event with Chalice being one of the main sponsors. Chalice is currently vying to create a large corridor just minutes from where I live within the beautiful Chittering Valley. A location of gorgeous biodiversity and endangered species, home to black cockatoos, quolls, bandicoots and many other threatened flora and fauna.

I am disappointed in this decision by the SoC to accept Chalices sponsorship, but I also understand that these events do need support to keep these shows running so it is a very tricky situation.

Taste of Chittering would not be possible without the valued support of our sponsors.

A big thank you to Chalice for supporting Taste of Chittering 2026. Community events like ours rely on the generosity of businesses and organisations that help bring people together to celebrate everything our region has to offer.

When people say "your prices are too high", this is what they don't see.

Hours of work to create the perfect piece. Perfection for handmade items is really hard to achieve. But when you're competing with the giants like Kmart and Big W, perfection is the only result we can aim for.

I order in plywood boards from Australian manufacturers, then I get to work staining and sealing. Then comes the resin which is always fun but challenging! Then I add on a food safe wax over the wood. This is a long process and my prices reflect this.

Unfortunately I, and many other artists, cannot compete with KMart prices. But I, and many other artists, can guarantee Australian made, handcrafted products which will last for years and can be a beautiful statement piece for your home, or can be a thoughtful gift to a loved one.

So next time you go to a market or a small, local shop and think it's pricey, think of the people behind the item and the work that goes into it 😍

Hello lovelies!

It's been a while since I've posted! I've been very busy making and making 😍

Just a bit of a PSA: From today, the 9th June 2026, any orders placed will need to have a 50% non-refundable deposit paid.
As resin is expensive and most items are made by order, I can no longer afford to make requested items and then be left on read once the item is available.

I hope you can all understand 🙏
