I was honoured to be asked to recreate this gorgeous man for a family who miss him dearly.

He bent my brain a little (those leg tattoos!), but I’m absolutely thrilled with the end result — thongs and all. Four Poppy dolls that I know can never replace the real thing, but hopefully can bring some comfort in his absence.

He’s a bit cute, but I’m biased 💙

Several Grannies and Old Fellas available to purchase. $80ea, includes all the animals and a print out of the words to the original books (‘There was an old woman who swallowed a fly’ & ‘There was an old bloke who swallowed a bunny.’)

Each Granny and her animals takes me a total of 8 hours each to make. My profit margin is pretty low but totally worth it, especially when I receive photos of the little people (and big people) who love them as much as I do.
