The chillier weather is settling in, Autumn Melbourne colours are on every corner and I’m stoking the fire most nights.
It took me a while to get used to calling May a cooler month (I’ve lived most of my life in London) and I think of May as the promise of summer, not the cosy hunker-down month it is here…🍁
But, there is a certain beauty in Melbourne in this late Autumn, more inside living and early to bed nights. I find myself standing at windows, coffee cup in hand looking out at the views, pondering my next steps. Inspiration comes often at those moments.
It’s also a great time of year to start the design process for a renovation. A reflection on what is working and what isn’t, a plan for evolving your home and feeling inspiration for the look, feel and actual outcome we want to create. The ideal kitchens for entertaining in the summer months, or the cosy nooks for the cooer ones…
