Yippee! Blockheads 7 has started.
This little beauty is Spring Walk by Vanessa Goertzen of Lella Boutique.
I have mocked this one up in my new Eucalypt Wovens.
I will be chatting about how to use Wovens, stripes and directional prints over on my blog, for each Blockheads Blocks.

Botanical Gatherings is a pattern with lots of projects, all featuring the Eucalypt toweling with the printed swag of leaves.
All these projects are to designed to showcase the Eucalypt toweling.
There’s a hexagonal table centre, which measures 34” in diameter.
A table runner featuring bias cut toweling on each end. Measures 60” x 18”.
Table mats and table napkins.

Eucalypt is shipping to stores in June 2027.
Shops are view Eucalypt now, so ask your local to place an order, if you would like some. ☺️

Canopy Runner.
Made with a length of Eucalypt Toweling and one charm pack of Eucalypt Wovens.
Change up the toweling and the trim for a different look.
Measures 17” x 60”.

Woodland is my fifth and final quilt made with Eucalypt Wovens.
There are still some Toweling projects to be revealed ☺️

Woodland is made with a Fat ¼ bundle but it also works with a jelly roll. We don’t make Jelly Rolls in Wovens, so grab a fat ¼ bundle for this one.
The backing is one of the 60” towelings and I love the scale of that check with the quilt top. And that shade of green is my absolute favourite.
Measures 80” x 80”
Quilted in a pattern called Eucalypt!

I wanted to photograph all my quilts in amongst the Eucalypt trees, but due to a broken ankle I could not walk far enough, or on an uneven pathway, so these photos are the closest I’ve got 😂
Maybe later, when I’m walking better I will take the photos I had imagined.

Silver Gum is my fourth quilt made with Eucalypt.
This one also includes the Eucalypt wreath from the coordinating toweling collection.
The backing is one of the 60” wide towelings, which quilts up beautifully. The check on the back is a larger scale than the silver check used in the piecing, but the two fabric reference one another, making for a cohesive look.

Measures 66” x 66”.

Have you seen the flickering shadows and dappled light that plays on the forest floor, under a canopy of trees?
Well this was the inspiration for that quilt.
Dappled Light
Measures 72” x 93”
Soft eucalypt greens, silver greys and iron shadows.

Longarm quilted by me with a pattern called Forest Floor by Hermoine Agee.

I just love that iron grey and green ticking striped border. One of my favourite fabrics from Eucalypt.

The second Eucalypt Wovens quilt is Ridgeline.

This one is Layer Cake friendly, plus some yardage, of course.
When I was showing my family all the Eucalypt projects, this one consistently received lots of Ooooohhs!

Measures 72” x 72”
Quilted by me with the quilting pattern ‘Thicket’ by Hermoine Agee
I used Eucalypt green coloured thread on the quilting to create the impression of trees growing over the ridges in the hills.

I’m excited to share all the new Eucalypt projects this week.
There are 5 quilts, 2 table runners, a mixed project pattern and a bag. So stay tuned ☺️

First one is Crossweave.
Made with a bundle of Eucalypt Woven Fat 1/4s.
It’s fresh, contemporary, clean and comforting.
Measures 73” x 73”
I have machine quilted this with a pattern called Boxing, one of my favourites by Barbie Mills from The Quilting Mill.

This one is destined for my bed, 😄

Time to get back to my EPP Wovens project.
I will start by starching my fabrics prior to cutting them out.
I find this keeps the stripes and checks straight and makes them easier to work with.
