Have you noticed aphids, thrips and ants after the rain and humidity on your roses? You don’t need to panic or use nasty chemicals. Ladybugs will do their thing in no time at all and if you can’t wait it’s therapeutic squishing them 😂 and if that’s not your thing then here’s an easy spray to make up.

Having a play with my new urn l got. It doesn’t look that big here but it is and it’s heavy 😂 The roses will go crazy this week now after this rain and humidity, they’re all starting to pop out.

This might be the tiniest stock flower l’ve ever seen. No idea why, the rest of this bed was all tall. There’s not many left in this bed though so once the last few are done I’ll be starting something else. Stock is one of those flowers l doubt growing each year because they don’t grow back once cut, you only get one flower per stem and you have to rip them out but then l remember how good they smell and how pretty they are and l get sucked right back into them 😂

If you’re after a climbing rose, this one’s the pick of them. You can smell it from so far away and it flowers prolifically all season. It’s covered already. It’s called Lorraine Lee and has the most sweetest smell and such a pretty colour 🩷

I just heard that the little posies l made up for the ladies at Beolite Village were a hit today and they loved them.
I was honoured to be asked and it was such a thoughtful idea by Radio Mansfield to organise these for their Golden Waves afternoon at the Beolite Village Community Centre as part of the Mansfield Shire Council Seniors Festival. I bet they everyone had a lovely afternoon listening to some tunes 💐🎼
