One of life’s simple pleasures is curling up with a beautiful design book. Page after page of beautiful rooms and thoughtful details. Discovering new colour combinations, ideas for storage and display, and the little details that turn a room into something special.

At mondocherry we’ve always believed the most beautiful homes feel collected rather than perfectly matched.

We love woven and wood texture beside soft linens, paper artworks with antique vessels, and homes filled with pieces that spark conversation and joy.

Gotta love Melbourne weather! Today’s forecast was showers all day but we currently have the most beautiful sunshine. ☀️I’m not complaining though. 😉

If you need to bring a bit of sunshine into your home over winter we suggest adding some of these fabulous block printed cushions. Find them online and in our Malvern shop, along with lots of other beautiful colours. 💛

Decorating with blue is less about trends and more about feelings. It can be dramatic and moody or soft and serene.

We particularly love blue paired with lots of natural textures; timber, linen, rattan, aged brass and silver, and handmade ceramics.

Tomorrow (Saturday) one of my sons is getting married. Hooray! 🎉💍💒 And since mondocherry is very much a family business, our shop will be closed as we celebrate together.

Yes, it is terrible timing for buying Morher’s Day presents and we apologise to all our lovely customers who thought they would pop by tomorrow to buy something special. But please come in today instead, we are open until 3pm!
