Meet Ava - our 11 year old superstar.

Ava 'winged' the design for her crocheted top and we think she has done an amazing job. Such a good fit, beautiful even crochet stitches...as a seasoned crocheter myself, I am incredibly impressed!

Well done Ava, we look forward to seeing your next creation!

Our very talented customer Judy has done it again...taken inspiration from a machine made sweater she found on Pintrest, and graphed her interpretation into a hand knitted version. An incredible amount of working out...we take our hat off to you Judy. (not sure if you can pick it up in the image, but Judy has even sewed little glass beads into the eyes)

What a labour of love for a little one. Katharine we think you have done an amazing job and judging by the admiration it generated from customers in our shop this morning, we are obviously good judges!
Katherine crocheted this blanket using Patons Cotton Blend 8ply and a pattern by Katy Mitchell - "All Creatures Great and Small" .
We are sure this delightful blanket is going to be treasured by the recipient for many many years and thank you allowing us to share your work with our readers.

Sarah brought in her "just off the needles" beanie. We had almost forgotten how lovely Malabrigo Rios feels when knitted...so happy to have it back in stock and thanks Sarah for sharing your project.

Deirdre dropped in to buy one ball of cotton, but got sidetracked by the lovely sample scarf we have...knitted in Katia's Concept "50 Mohair Shades".
After much debate she chose soft natural shades with a splash of soft pink.

If you would like to knit this scarf, it requires 1 roll of each of 5 different shades of 50 Mohair shades and is knitted in garter stitch on size 4.50mm needles.

We love it when customers who have been regulars for many years (and therefore accumulated a lot of left overs!) can go through their stash and put together a mismatch of colours, textures and techniques to produce a one of a kind garment.
