Would you believe us if we told you these pieces are made by our Beginner & Intermediate students?! A humble lump of clay transformed to a ceramic masterpiece by muddy, learning hands in just 6 weeks!

We are so proud of our 2025 students & have loved watching them develop their skills & confidence. Some students have even decided to extend their skills 💪 with our Intermediate Wheel Course (pics 8 & 9).

STUDIO INTERN POSITION📣//
We are on the lookout 👀 for an intern to join our wacky/creative studio team and get real hands-on art studio experience. 📍Located on Mandurah Foreshore.

This 3-5 month position will teach you about the world behind the scenes in a Pottery studio.

🌊 YOU'LL DIVE INTO ->
• Clay preparation for workshops.
• Assisting our kiln technician with glazing and kiln operations.
• Assisting with Content Creation (planning, filming etc).
• Cleaning and organising.
• Assisting during workshops (subject to timing).
• Supporting routine studio operations.

🙌THE IDEAL CANDIDATE ->
• Comfortable with getting muddy.
• Eager to explore a new world.
• Happy with repetitive tasks (clay prep each week etc)
• Aged 18+
• Able to commit a min. of 6 hours each week for a min. of 3 months.
• Please note this an unpaid position, but you will gain these perks:

EXQUISITE ENDINGS 💀 // The final stitches have been ripped, and the corpses are laid to rest. We bid farewell to the Exquisite Corpses Exhibition, but not before we take one last look in the rear-view mirror.

Opening Night - Friday 10th October... An ambient glow, shadows dancing across the room as guests drifted between eerie silhouettes and hollowed forms. Clad in gothic finery, a living extension of Exquisite Corpses.
We sipped on crimson pours, in deep discussion of what we see, what we feel & what we yearn for. Haunting melodies filled the gaps between sip & sentence.

It was an evening to remember: a mishmash of borrowed parts, jury rigged together, a patchwork of scraps made of borrowed gestures, and quiet inheritances. A puzzle at long last revealing the final picture.

Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this exhibition to life (or death rather) - notably: Seath Bermingham, Isaac Gould, Jesse Chong, Kelly Swart, Jamie-Lee Griffiths, Natasha Smithers, Margaret Leech, Kristy Stidworthy, Siobhan Flaherty, Jessica Howick and Rhys Clark.

EXQUISITE CORPSES EXHIBITION // Artist, .or.Seath, and Terraform Studio Artists invite you to our version of a children’s collaborative drawing game, where strange and wondrous beings emerge from mismatched contributions. A commentary of the tension that exists between grotesque and playful, eerie and comical, laughter in the darkness.

We are all Exquisite Corpses. A mishmash of borrowed parts, jury rigged together, a patchwork of scraps made of borrowed gestures, and quiet inheritances. Golems, Homunculi, Frankenstein’s monsters in everyday disguise.

Clay carries the same type of magic. A handmade vessel awakens, warming from coffee or soup, breathing in your hands. A quiet awe of holding something both object and companion. The Little Guys are alive and dancing, can you see them?

The Little Guys are distilled moments of that commentary. Visual echoes of stories, souls worn on the outside, fragments of human connection that animate us. Sometimes they tell stories and sometimes you are simply asked to feel. These figures are phantoms, wisps, lights & shadows, designed to fascinate, to capture your attention and force you to assign an inner meaning.

They are playful, simplistic, imperfect souls brimming with awkwardness and yet they speak of what we all are - Exquisite Corpses.

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT - Julie //

We are so excited to showcase Julie, a bright star in our Pottery Studio community!
Julie poured her heart and soul into our 6 week Hand Building course, and the results of her work were stunning. Just look at that gorgeous geometric lamp she created! 🌿✨ Its intricate design and craftsmanship truly reflect her dedication and passion for pottery.

Despite her busy work life throughout rural Western Australia, Julie makes it a point to join us for our Limited Edition workshops (10 & counting!), proving that when you love something, you find the time for it! 🕒💪 Her enthusiasm is infectious, and we're so lucky to have her as part of our studio family.

💖 VIBRANT SOUL 💖
Kell is the powerhouse behind Get Muddy & Terraform Studio, balancing her roles as co-owner and ceramic artist. Her talents extend across all things digital, from photography and web design, to copywriting and marketing, just to name a few!

Kell is also the mastermind behind our workshops. We watch in awe as a simple idea is transformed into a Limited Edition Artisan Workshop with a little Kell magic! We know she is particularly proud of the CrabFest Clamshells, Solstice Mugs, and Honeypot workshops.

But underneath all that digital stuff, Kell is an artist through and through. Her work draws inspiration from antiques and international artifacts, giving each piece a timeless sense of heritage. She’s drawn to beautifully quirky, one-of-a-kind items that blend form, function, class, and quality.

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT - DANIEL // Better known by his nickname '✨Magic', this Brit invaded our pottery studio during a Wine & Wheels Workshop, and joined our courses to show off his slight-of-hand skills. While his classmates made more traditional bowls at their first class, Daniel's first pot was a little more whimsical, one of which he is quite fond of! Can you spot it? 👀

From the first class (black & white image) to the course party - Daniel always has us in tears laughing. We couldn't thank you enough for getting muddy this summer with us! We are so proud of what you have made! Keep going - you are just getting started. 😊

We have to say, we love the way Daniel has chosen to glaze his final pieces - ocean vibes all the way! A perfect fit for their coastal home. Congrats Daniel, our resident muddy magician!

HAMISH WEBSTER // Congratulations to Hamish for his exceptional sculpture - 'Necessary Evil' - that sold opening day! This sculpture can be seen at the IOTA24 Codes of Peel exhibition at

Legendary glass blower turned ceramic artist, Hamish has been a Terraform Studio member for almost 2 years now. This piece is made from Keane's White Raku Clay and glazed in semi-gloss grey & blue glaze combo.
