Thank you to all the wonderful visitors that came by for a chat, made a purchase, and gave me lovely feedback for the ArtSouth WA and the Southern Art & Craft Trail. It was a great experience for my first Open Studios in Albany and I look forward to seeing everyone again next year..or at one of my workshops 😉🩷

My apologies today it looks like Western Power are putting in new poles and working just near my driveway. For anyone coming to the open studio today for ArtSouth WA and the Southern Art & Craft Trail I will be there but without power and it could be tricky to get in and around the workers also I wont be able to put up my signs 🥲

I saw this on a thread yesterday which I thought was pretty spot on..after the time it takes creating your art and all the other costs involved including materials and equipment there is also the many hours and years of education..it does not leave much room for profit.

⚱️🍵🏺WELCOME TO KANGABURRA POTTERY
Ive been a Potter/ Ceramic artist for over 20yrs. I have recently moved to Albany and in the process of setting up my studio where I will be conducting Pottery workshops for adults and children and participating in the Great Southern Art Trail. I studied ceramics at Rockingham & Perth Tafe in the past and have learnt many different techniques from Australian and International Ceramic artist while studying overseas.

I have been in a few exhibitions and have taught ceramics from my home studio in Manjimup & Margaret River before moving to Albany.

I am looking forward to joining the creative/art scene in Albany.
