Scattered Arts presents Created with Colour, an exhibition by member artisans. Today’s choice of new artwork features my other love- papier-mâché. Decorated with Lotka paper from Nepal, this paper vessel can be used as a vase by placing a glass jar inside. Or it can just sit on the shelf looking beautiful.

I haven’t posted any photos of new products for a long time. Life has been busy, but now Scattered Arts is holding an exhibition of members’ work at the Richard Randall Art Studio, Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens. Leaves & Weaves will be on display. The exhibition “Created with Colour” will run from Mon Nov 3 - Sunday Nov 9. To make up for not posting, I promise to post pics of at least one new item each day until the start of the event. Hope you enjoy the pics.
Today’s silk scarf features Sacred Bamboo (Nandina) and rose leaves on a madder dyed silk scarf with a light logwood dye blanket creating the dark reds.
