Well, that’s a lovely way to start Sunday morning trade… NOT! 😡

Arrived this morning to find someone has decided to tip out our planter boxes along the front of the shop, leaving soil scattered all over the footpath and road.

Seriously… why? 🤦‍♀️

Small businesses already have enough to do without cleaning up pointless vandalism before we can even open the doors.

If anyone happened to see anything along Randall Street overnight, please let us know.

Anyway… mess cleaned up, doors open and we’re trading! ❤️

🧸✨ THE CHARLIE BEARS ROOM TRANSFORMATION! ✨🧸

What started as “let’s make a new Charlie Bears room” somehow turned into a MUCH bigger project than I anticipated! 😂

Rob, Alexis and I painted, moved, shuffled and transformed half the shop along the way — creating our gorgeous new Charlie Bears room, a new Man Cave and several completely revamped areas!

And apparently we’re not finished yet… 🙈

The last piece of the puzzle is our new Wall Art Gallery, which is now in the works. 🖼️✨ Stay tuned for that transformation!

If you haven’t visited us for a while, you might notice things are looking a little different… 👀

We’ve been busy behind the scenes giving The Butter Factory a HUGE reshuffle — and there’s plenty more still to come!

🧸 Our beautiful new Charlie Bears Room is now open and ready to explore
🏁 Our Man Cave has had a makeover
🚗 Collectables, model cars, signs, memorabilia, antiques and treasures are finding new homes throughout the shop
✨ And we’re still moving, changing and creating!

But don’t wait until we’re finished to visit! We’re OPEN as usual and there is already so much to see. In fact, half the fun is coming back and discovering what’s changed since your last visit. ❤️

With more than 300sqm of treasures to explore, you never quite know what you’ll find at The Butter Factory.

✨ THE MOOMINS ARE COMING TO THE BUTTER FACTORY! ✨

We are SO excited to be welcoming the wonderfully whimsical Moomins by Charlie Bears into our brand-new Charlie Bears room! 🤍🌿

These gorgeous characters have stepped straight out of the magical world of Moominvalley — and honestly, they couldn’t be more perfect for our new space.

From Moomintroll and Moominpappa to Little My, Snorkmaiden and friends, this collection is full of personality, nostalgia and that quirky Charlie Bears charm we absolutely love. 🥰

Our Charlie Bears room is getting closer and closer to being finished, and we have some very special bears and characters arriving to fill it!

Who remembers the Moomins? 👀

If you’ve lived in Mannum for any length of time, chances are you’ve seen one of Jubba’s photos.

For years, he’s been out there capturing our community—our events, our people, our beautiful river, and the moments that make Mannum special. He does it because he loves this town and loves sharing its stories.

Sadly, his camera died on the weekend, and without it, he can’t keep doing what he does so generously for all of us.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help replace his camera. If you’ve ever enjoyed one of Jubba’s photos, even a small donation would make a real difference. If donating isn’t possible, sharing this post would also help enormously.
