Update on the piece I had to put aside before I threw it out…it made it through the glaze fire! There are some cracks in the white clay slip that I painted over the brown clay, but they are sealed by the clear glaze so happy days! It has lost its perfectly round shape, but that’s hand making for you!

This piece took longer than it should have to decorate because I somehow really leaned into doing things in the wrong the sequence 😑 I’ve put it in the kiln - not because the kiln is about to go on, I just needed to be done with this stage of its being!
