Starting as a stained glass artist, I’ve extended my interests to include fused and cast glass, painted glass, bead making and torchwork with some dabbling in the hot glass studio. I’ve studied with many amazing artists from around the world both in Australia and the USA. I love teaching what I’ve learnt and am learning. Our architectural glasswork can be found in schools churches and thousands of homes in Tasmania and interstate

Some days are gold! So excited by this glass marble found in the soil and slush under my laundry (familiar space to students from workshops and classes) by Jonty the apprentice. My studio and home is on the site of the original school house for Margate built in 1869. Since Margate primary school moved to its current site in1919, is it fair to assume this marble is over 105 years old.
Mostly I’m excited that I have been gifted this tiny piece of glass from the last.
